TIM + ALICE
Set on a private rural property in North East Victoria, Tim and Alice made their wedding a true celebration, and these two sure know how to throw a party.
Alice, an interior designer turned florist and owner of local business Floral Harvest, had an amazing vision of how the day would look, so set about achieving it with the help of good friend and mentor Carla from Rutherglen Florist. The result was a classic green & white palette with textural linens and rustic timber, creating a look of simple elegance.
Alice dressed in a gorgeous custom made gown and Tim in a dapper black tie suit, the couple wed amongst the swaying gum trees (and a few mosquitoes) flanked by their bridal party. Self written vowels, a passing bus, the arrival of the family dog and a crying niece, made the ceremony memorable, light and full of love!
Guests were then ushered to the front lawn of the majestic weather board homestead to enjoy drinks & canapés by the clever team of Pinchos Catering before entering the marquee.
A central dance floor made from floorboards of the original homestead that once stood on the site was positioned in the middle of the marquee eluding to the fact it may be put to use!! Three epic ceiling squares of gum & olive with splashes of white florals adorned the ceiling over the dance floor and created a visual masterpiece.
Guests were seated for two scrumptious courses of share platters that sat amongst the stunning clusters or floral adorning the table.
Nothing says ‘party’ like an expresso martini and who better to make it for you than the clever boys from Mr B Coffee, and of course their delicious donuts that accompany the fancy glass of goodness. This was the final touch to ensure Tim & Alice and their guests celebrated until the wee hours of the morning.
